Welcome to the Grob Apprenticeship Program

Build Your Future With Us

The Workforce of Tomorrow

GROB's apprenticeship program is largely focused on allowing our students to learn in a hands-on environment. Each student will rotate through the various manufacturing and assembly areas of our production facility while also attending Rhodes State College. This is the key to developing a well-rounded technician that has a strong technical foundation to build a career on. This hands-on approach is essential for our students to learn and understand GROB's work practices. The apprentices will receive a free associates degree while earning a full time wage. Apprentices will receive an hourly wage while attending their classes as well as being trained at GROB. On top of being trained and earning their degree, apprentices will receive free health insurance, 401k matching, paid holidays, and a free daily lunch.

GROB apprentices are currently registered with Rhodes State College in a Manufacturing Engineering Technology Program and Electrical Engineering Technology Program. These programs are designed to prepare students for technical level jobs in the world of robots, computerized numerical controlled machines, computer aided drafting and design, automated warehousing systems and the total flexible manufacturing network. It also includes the general education requirements in English, Technical Writing, Psychology and other General Electives.
